Truck driving is a career that suits so many personalities. Independent people who prefer the solitary freedom of the open road to the restrictive environment of an office packed with cubicles are perfect candidates for this career. If you have never driven a truck and don’t have the proper license and qualifications to start, don’t be discouraged! Our team is happy to help you get your bearings so you can join Home Run. We can refer you to a local driving school to get your Class A CDL and then hire you as a graduate. As long as you are 23 or older and motivated, there’s no reason not to begin your journey as a truck driver!

Home Run Student Training Program
After you obtain, your Class A CDL and you are hired by Home Run as a company driver, we will bring your training to a completion and get you moving in your CMV driving career. Start your career today with an industry leader and a company that cares about you and your family. Here is what to expect from our training program:
- One-on-one training with a safe, experienced company certified trainer.
- Training will run four weeks depending upon past experience.
- Great pay package from your start date with a Guaranteed gross of $1000 per week.
- You will have weekly evaluations completed by your trainer in order for you to feel confident in your driving career and address problems and concerns you may have as a CMV driver.
- Training will be completed solo, not as a team.
- Weekly mentoring program to make sure you are on track and resolve any concerns you may have.
- Once your training is completed and you are assigned your own truck, we will start your Tuition Reimbursement if qualified.
